The Beholder is a floating eye-tyrant with a central eye and ten eyestalks. It is an aberration native to the Abyss and the distant planes, and its paranoia is legendary: it does not trust even its own kind. In the shared cosmos it appears as a creature of the subterranean depths and the outer planes.
