Solar Rings are the magical insignia of the Knights of the Scar of the Sun in the Ardis Vala gesta (campaign-cycle): sun-summoning rings made by a vampire.

Description
Made by Master Malakita, Rudishva vampire and founder of the Order in 1123 AEP. The scarlet silver is probably a Rudishva alloy; a sun-scar rune may be engraved inside. The rings grant feather fall, prodigious jumps and water breathing, and summon a perpetual simulated sunlight that harms the undead like true sunlight. Being an arcane simulation, it let Malakita hand them out safely. Vampires such as Cinna Minux fear them.
History
After Alúmine beheaded Malakita, the Seekers of Ardis Vala recovered several rings. Since Sir Sixto became Pope Alejandro Sixto, the pope may have refined the rings during the Hiatus and may be able to detect or summon the old ones.
Rings of higher purpose, which allow spellcasting in the antimagic veil of the Inn of the Lost (Troll Lifts and Arena), may be of the same line or a rival one.
